New Year's Eve is always fun. A time to get together with family and friends and embrace the excitement of a new year. But in 2020? It's extra meaningful.
Sure, we won't be able to celebrate with as many people as we'd like. But who isn't ready to say goodbye to 2020?
So as you think about how best to get psyched up for 2021, we have a suggestion. How about a dance party? A fashion show? Or making a super fun, glittery craft? Or how about all of these things together?
If that sounds good , then check out the Art Gallery of Ontario's New Year's Eve Countdown!
It's magic!
Our friends at the Art Gallery of Ontario (AGO) are throwing a free online event. Inspired by their brand new exhibit, Studio 54: Night Magic, the family-friendly party starts at 4:00pm EST on Dec. 31. It will include art, fashion, music, conversation, and some wild new digital artwork by Toronto artist Diana VanderMuelen (that's her work at the top of this post).
To participate, all that you need to do is register at the link found here. You can also watch the party livestream on the AGO site, too.
And if you want to decorate your home for the event, then the AGO has a killer craft for you to try.
In the video below, AGO Artist Instructor Amanda Arcuri shows us how to make our own disco ball! You can spend the day making this awesome craft. Then get dressed up, turn up the tunes, and dance 2020 away!
Have a wonderful New Year's Eve, everyone. All of us at OWLconnected want to thank you for reading our website this year.
We wish you an amazing 2021. See you back here on January 5!
