Have you ever tried to howl like a wolf? It’s not as easy as it looks, and even our furry four-legged friends need to practice. Got to start somewhere, right?
In a video that recently went viral, we can see a whole pack of wolf cubs on a country road in northern Quebec. When one cub begins a small howl, the rest of them quickly join in to create a high-pitched chorus of 'ah-wooo's.
They’re so cute that almost makes you forget that they’re apex predators!
Why do wolves howl?
It’s a myth that wolves howl at moon!
Wolves howl for a number of reasons, including to warn others off their territory and to strengthen the pack’s bond overall. Since these animals hunt over great distances, howling is a useful way for the pack to keep track of one another if they get separated. Not only does howling help find their friends, it’s also a way of showing affection to their fellow pack-mates.
While the little howls the cubs make in the video sound pretty adorable, they are also practicing important social skills that they will use for the rest of their lives. Keep on howling!
It like the wolfs talk to each other by howling .And it is cool that wolfs practise howling in a group . They call each other so the pack do not get lost and they howl in hunting too .
I love wolves and this article made me learn more about my favourite animal 🙂 🙂 🙂 🙂 😀 😀 😀 😛 😮
This reminds me of a movie, called Zombies 2 ( on disney +) its about zombies who used to be evil but now are nice, then werewolfs appear in the town and they are looking for the great alpha. They believe a girl named addison is the great alpha. Me and my friend say that they communicate by howling..guess we were right!!
