General KnOWLedge: Can you be addicted to video games?

Can such a fun, inventive, and even challenging hobby really be bad for us?
video games

Video games have actually been around a pretty long time. Every few years, it seems that the games themselves — as well as the communities that play them — get more and more involved.

Better graphics, better storylines, better technology, better gaming groups, better competitions... it's all pretty awesome.

But then came an announcement last year from the World Health Organization, that they had categorized a new mental health condition. Gaming disorder.

Is gaming just a game?

In today's OWLconnected General KnOWLedge, we're examining how much of a problem video games really are to people's mental health. Is it really something to be concerned about? Or can we all continue to play video games without worry?

Press 'start' (or actually play) on the video below and let the game begin!
